Virginity

Virginity Definition

Virginity denotes the state of a person who has not taken part in sexual intercourse; sexual intercourse (also called coitus, or copulation) is reproductive act in which the male reproductive organ enters the female reproductive tract, if the reproductive act is complete, sperm cells are passed from the male body into the female, in the process fertilizing the female egg and forming a new organism.

This biological definition explains the ultimate goal of sexual intercourse and corresponds well with St. Thomas Aquinas teaching. On the basis of teleology, every emission of seed that takes place in such a way that generation cannot result or suitably result is against the good of the human being. Thus, if this is purposely done, it is a sin. The inordinate emission of seed opposes the good of the nature which is the preservation of the species.

Virginity of the spouses ends in consummation of a marriage, which is a conjugal act which is suitable in itself for the procreation of offspring, to which marriage is ordered by its nature and by which the spouses become one flesh.

Warning

Oral and anal penetration do not take virginity but can be more dangerous than sexual intercourse.

Oral and anal penetration, involving insertion of the penis into the anus or the mouth, do not take virginity, but in participants of these sexual practices result in more sexually transmitted infections than the vaginal penetration. Why? The answer is here: Sexually Transmitted Disease Prevention

For virginity robbed or stolen, must be blamed:

(1)   direct robbers and thieves

(2)   negligible parents and other carers

(3)   coercion, Pavlovian conditioning and other ways of sluttification appliers

(4)   deviant opinion makers, corrupted law enforcement officers, all those who naively think that promiscuity won't ever affect them.

Underage victims of virginity loss

Underage victims of the robbery of their virginity should be aware of severe violation of their human rights and never stop striving for getting redressed and bringing the rapist to justice.  Not only sexual intercourse but every type of underage sex (child molestation, statutory rape, sexual assault etc.) may ruin victim's life.

A sexual predator should be convicted of assault even if the minor victim explicitly consented to the sexual contact and no force was used by the attacker. Again: even if the victim gave his/her consent, did not resist and/or mutually participated. By contrast, other rape generally occurs when a person overcomes another person by force and without the person's consent. Furthermore, a predator may not argue that he/she was mistaken as to the minor's age or incapacity.
